I am 25, married, hold a degree, have a good job, and have just and my first baby. I enjoy life, love my family, and have great hobbies. To say to parents with newly diagnosed children that aspergers is 'devastating' is going to worry them unnecessarily. Asperger's syndrome is very dis-similar to 'classic' autism, and your child has great potential! This is a bit offensive, and panic inducing.
